MainFrame

MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities carefully milled into the backside of the Iron face that maximizes flex at impact. This second-generation design goes even further, not just boosting COR but repositioning mass away from the face and into the toe and sole for a lower CG.

Utility Iron Shapes

Our widest soles, combined with minimal offset and an appealing look at address, makes our forgiving, hollow ZX Mk II Utility long Irons professional favorites. New for Mk II, every ZX Iron model now features the same topline thickness, so combination sets are even more seamless from address.

Forged Multi-Piece Construction

ZX Mk II Utility’s forged SUP10 faces are strong yet light—increasing face-flex at impact for enhanced speed and distance—while a forged 1020 Carbon Steel body absorbs vibrations for a softer feel.

Sole Notches

Revered by Srixon tour staff, our popular sole notches on the heel and toe of each sole lessen drag by reducing the amount of surface area that contacts the ground. Ultimately, they provide better clubhead speed through turf and improve shot versatility without sacrificing forgiveness.

Shaft And Grip Details

Nippon N.S Pro 950 GH Neo Steel: The N.S Pro 950GH Neo was developed with the popularity of larger iron head designs with strong lofts and lower center of gravities in mind. While inheriting the superb handling and directional accuracy of the 960GH, neo better matches today’s iron heads with rigid characteristics refined by patented processes from our tour winning N.S Pro Modus 3 Multi Heat Treatment technology (MHT) and Multi Shape Adjustment technology (MSA). The same light feeling as before is better matched to new high-performance irons. A higher rigidity in the middle provides a sense of acceleration that secures spin and headspeed.
UST Mamya Recoil 95 Graphite: You don’t settle for steel in your woods, so why would you compromise with your irons? Get better feel, better consistency, and better accuracy with Recoil – the first revolutionary carbon fiber iron shaft that doesn’t change the game; it makes steel obsolete. Recoil Technology provides more efficient energy transfer than steel (67%). Optimal spring effect in the walls of the shafts offers more efficient energy transfer to the ball increasing velocity and greater distance, while also providing more consistency, distance, and trajectory control.
Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360: The Tour Velvet® 360 features the popular look and feel of the Tour Velvet non-slip surface pattern in a 360-degree design. This grip features double-dash rings on both ends that allow for a consistent appearance regardless of shaft orientation or adjustments.
Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 105 Steel: The N.S. PRO Modus 3 series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in three key areas. Desired trajectory, accurate distances and tight dispersion. With a controlled trajectory that even surprises the tour pros, Modus 3 105 is lighter in weight to increase club head speed for longer distances, straighter shots, stronger trajectories and more consistent performance. Broadening the Nippon Shaft reputation as a light weight shaft expert, the N.S Pro Modus 3 105 has a traditional smooth bend profile that offers players a Mid Flight and Spin.
Nippon N.S Pro Modus 3 120 Steel: Unique development concept designed for control. The N.S. PRO Modus 3 series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in three key areas. The desired trajectory as a result of the unique structure of a stiff tip section and softer midsection. Accurate distances due to the unique raw steel material and accompanying heat treatment. And tight dispersion coming from the exacting tolerances of the highest quality level. The high-rigidity design of the tip steadies impact to help minimize unwanted spin while creating a stronger trajectory. The low rigidity in the midsection improves shaft control so the player with any tempo can more easily control their shots, while the low but rigidity improves swing tempo and contributes to a comfortable, smoother feeling upon impact.
KBS $-Taper Steel: KBS Tour $-Taper provides superior feel while maintaining shot workability and tight dispersion for players seeking the ultimate tour shaft with Mid trajectory and Low Spin performance. The KBS Tour $-Taper shares the same bend profile as the KBS TOUR with elongated step patterns for spin, generating a stable performance throughout the swing. KBS $-Taper steel features a stiff tip section with an advanced micro step pattern for a firm shaft design. The mid-weight construction has a higher CG location.
Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord: The Z-Grip cord is the firmest cord grip available from Golf Pride. Combining two layers of texturing for feedback and control, the Z-Grip features a deep “Z”-shaped texture pattern that winds vertically around the grip for control, while a heavy cord texture throughout provides moisture management.
Golf Pride MCC Plus 4: The MCC Plus 4 is a tour-proven, hybrid golf grip featuring a larger lower hand and new softer rubber material. The MCC Plus 4 simulates 4 additional wraps of tape on the lower hand to encourage lighter grip pressure, reduced tension, and increased power.
